Separate · Weigh the evidence
A promising idea is only part of the report
The study question matters as much as the headline.

Find out where the result came from
In cell dishes, GHK-Cu has increased production of collagen, a protein that helps give skin strength.
A result from cells in a dish does not show what a product will do in a person.
When a claim cites “research,” ask whether that means cells, animals or people. Keep the answer in the first line of your notes.
A measured result can differ from satisfaction
A 2006 GHK-Cu skincare study had 13 people complete testing after laser skin treatment.
Measurements found no clear improvement in wrinkles or overall skin quality.
People using the GHK-Cu skincare reported greater satisfaction, but that did not change the measured findings.
Those people had just had laser treatment; this small study cannot answer every question about using a cream on other skin.
Keep the limitation beside the result
Reviews checked through September 30, 2026 describe GHK-Cu research in people as limited and incomplete.
Ask what is still unknown. An answer can acknowledge a gap without pretending the gap proves either success or failure.
Ask for the full study title. Ask the person explaining it to show who was tested, what was compared and what changed. Ask whether those details match the product and use offered to you.
The reading habit to keep
Record what was tested, what changed and what the study cannot answer.
